St Petersburg has some of the most fantastic old buildings in the world... in a way it reminded me of Venice. Moscow is very grand and sophisticated...and the ride on the Trans Siberian Rail unforgettable... Helsinki is a pleasant city, not too big, with some very good restaurants and bars...
